Ni-Mo alloy Hastelloy B

Carbon Ni-Mo alloy Hastelloy B, the silicon content is extremely low, reducing the precipitation HAZ carbon and other impurity phases, so the weld has sufficient corrosion resistance. Alloy Hastelloy B-2 has good corrosion resistance in reducing media, such as hydrochloric acid solution at various temperatures and concentrations. In the medium concentration of sulfuric acid solution (or a certain amount of chlorine ions) also has good corrosion resistance. But also can be used acetic acid and phosphoric acid environments. Alloys only when appropriate metallurgical state and pure crystal structure in order to have the best corrosion resistance.

1.Control of iron and chromium content in the minimum to prevent the generation of β-phase Ni4Mo.
2.Reducing environment for excellent corrosion resistance.
3.Excellent resistance to moderate concentrations of sulfuric acid and a number of non-oxidizing acid corrosion.
4.Good resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking resistance reduction (SCC).
5.Excellent resistance to a variety of organic corrosion.
i-Mo alloy Hastelloy B Metallurgical structure

Hastelloy B for a face-centered cubic lattice structure. By controlling the content of iron and chromium at a minimum, reduce the processing brittle, preventing precipitation at 700-870 ℃ between Ni4Mo phase.
